PHOENIX (AP) — Conservative Republicans in the Arizona Legislature who oppose Gov. Jan Brewer’s plan to expand the state’s Medicaid coverage to more people are laying out their alternatives.

A group of lawmakers held a rally Thursday at the Capitol along with backers who want them to oppose the expansion allowed under provisions of the federal health care overhaul.
