Participants in a transgender pride parade in San Francisco burned an American flag during their march on Sunday, according to Townhall.
Twitter user “Mx Emily a Rose,” a transgender pride march participant who claims she did not take part in the burning, tweeted a photo and a video of the questionable act.

After posting the video, Rose polled followers by asking their opinion on the American flag burning. Eighty-one percent of respondents said they were “very offended by this.”
The video I recorded of an American flag being burned at #TransMarch has sparked a controversy. What do you think?

Despite this anti-American act by these people in the parade, the United States is one of the friendliest LGBT countries in the world. Not only do Americans have freedom of speech that allows LGBT groups to march and express their opinions, but the U.S. is one of 20 countries where a person can marry anyone regardless of gender identity. In contrast, homosexuality is illegal in 73 countries and punishable by death in 10 countries.
