Report: Deadly Explosion at Iranian Explosives Facility

The BBC is reporting that:

A fire and explosion at a military explosives facility near the Iranian capital Tehran has left at least two people dead … The semi-official Iranian Students News Agency (Isna) said the fire was in an “explosive materials production unit”.

Also:

A pro-opposition website reported a huge blast near the Parchin military site [which] … has been linked to Iran’s controversial nuclear program.

And where:

… the International Atomic Energy Agency suspects Iran of experimenting with explosives capable of triggering a nuclear weapon …

The explosion, according to these reports, could be heard for miles and blew the glass out of windows 15 kilometers away.

One suspects repercussions of equal intensity.
