Montana Democrats send newly sworn-in Greg Gianforte an orange jumpsuit

Rep. Greg Gianforte, R-Mont., was sent an orange jumpsuit by the Montana Democratic Party to “celebrate” him being sworn into Congress on Wednesday.

“Everyone knows you need plenty of suits to work on Capitol Hill. While millionaire Gianforte can certainly afford his own, we know he has a lot of legal fees to pay,” a statement from the Montana Democratic Party said.

The Montana Democratic Party mailed the “new suit” to his Washington office.

Gianforte pled guilty to a misdemeanor physical assault charge after body slamming a Guardian reporter to the ground the night before the special election for Montana’s U.S. House seat.
