The Prince George’s County Police Department is asking the public to help identify a suspect in the robbery of an Upper Marlboro bank.

On May 25, the man walked into the BB&T Bank, located at 9420 Pennsylvania Ave., posing as a customer. Once inside, the suspect passed a note to the bank teller demanding money and implied he had a gun.

The victim, fearing for his life, complied with the demand, police said.

The suspect has been described as a 6-foot-1, 215-pound white male wearing black shorts, a gray long-sleeve shirt, white socks and white tennis shoes. He also wore a blue hat with a white stripe on it. The suspect was last seen getting into a white older model Chevy pickup heading toward Woodyard Road.

Anyone with any information that may assist in this investigation is asked to contact the police at (301) 772-4905.
