Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin has people “rolling on the floor laughing” with his impersonations of President Trump on Saturday Night Live. But his brother doesn’t seem to think he’s so funny.
Stephen Baldwin, Alec’s estranged brother who voted for Trump, told Fox & Friends he hasn’t spoken to his brother since the election.
“I think it’s funny… in a bad way– which, is there such a thing, really?” he said of Alec’s Trump impersonation this weekend.
The conservative actor said he felt the Trump-bashing in Hollywood was getting a bit “nasty” already early on in his campaign. Even his family members were in conflict over their political differences.
“Now, to be honest with you, I haven’t even spoken to my own brother since the election, so happy birthday, Alec! Love you!” he said.
The two brothers’ political rivalry goes back beyond this past election. In 2008, Stephen promised to move to Canada if Barack Obama was elected president, and in 2016, Alec fired back by promising to move to Canada if Trump became president.
In 2011, Alec considered running in New York City’s 2013 mayoral elections, and Stephen suggested he’d run as an opponent to his brother.
