Kanye West submits paperwork to appear on Missouri ballot

Published

The presidential campaign of Kanye West is rolling on after the rapper-turned-political candidate submitted paperwork to appear on the Missouri general ballot.

West’s campaign filed signatures with the Missouri State Board of Elections on Monday just before the 5 p.m. cutoff time, according to Maura Browning, a representative for Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft. Browning stressed that West will not appear on the ballot unless all 10,000 signatures required can be validated as legitimate.
