Scoop: Best of Blackwell’s worst-dressed list

In fond memory of Mr. Blackwell, the fashion expert best known for his hilarious annual worst-dressed list who died Sunday in Los Angeles at age 86, Scoop! repeats some of his zingers:

Madonna: “The Bare-Bottomed Bore of Babylon.”

Barbra Streisand: “She looks like a masculine Bride of Frankenstein.”

Christina Aguilera: “A dazzling singer who puts good taste through the wardrobe wringer.”

Meryl Streep: “She looks like a gypsy abandoned by a caravan.”

Sharon Stone: “An over-the-hill Cruella DeVille.”

Lindsay Lohan: “From adorable to deplorable.”

Bjork: “She dances in the dark — and dresses there, too.”

Britney Spears: “Her bra-topped collection of Madonna rejects is pure fashion overkill.”

According to The Associated Press, the critic acknowledged he had mixed feelings about appearing so publicly mean. Most of the women he put through the wringer, he said, were people he genuinely admired for their talent if not their fashion sense.

Divorce bad for baby?

Madonna’s impending divorce from Guy Ritchie could jeopardize her relationship with her adopted son, David. With their two-parent household a thing of the past, the Malawi boy’s biological dad says he’s beginning to regret giving the toddler up.

“I am still a poor farmer with nothing to offer, but maybe he’d be better off back with us,” Yohane Banda mused to the U.K.’s Sun.

Despite Madonna “promis[ing] to take care of him,” Yohane laments, “now I see him in a big bewildering crowd in the street with people pushing and shoving, and many cameras around, and without a mother and father to hold his hand. I’m feeling bad for him.”

Don’t stress too much, Yohane. We have a feeling Madge will manage to find a replacement for Guy right quick.

David Duchovny

The real-life marriage of David Duchovny and Téa Leoni may have involved as much racy drama as an episode of his show, “Californication.” While the now-separated actress denies a fling with Billy Bob Thornton, her estranged hubby is facing rumors that he got close to his tennis instructor.

The “X-Files” star, 48, who recently completed rehab for sex addiction, has been taking private lessons from 28-year-old Hungarian coach Edit Pakay — and the U.K.’s Daily Mail reports that their relationship is more than professional.

Asked about the affair rumor, Edit told the paper, “I don’t want to say anything that might hurt David. I am not going to deny it. I don’t know what our relationship means to him.

“We have a very, very close friendship. I don’t want to be the third person in the marriage but I know it can be seen that way.”

A pal spelled it out more bluntly: “This is a real relationship. Edit is in love with David.

Showtime couldn’t ask for a better free promotion than this.
