More revelations about political bias will be coming out “every day,” predicted Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley when asked about FBI agent Peter Strzok on Tuesday.
Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo asked the Iowa Republican on her morning program whether he expects to see accountability from the Justice Department and FBI with Stzrok testifying in an open hearing on Thursday.
“I think that there is every day — there is going to be more news coming out that would say that this has been political bias, against President Trump,” he replied.

The hearing won’t be before Grassley’s committee but a joint session of the House Judiciary and House Oversight Committees. Strzok talked to those panels behind closed doors last week, and Democrats have complained that Republicans have mischaracterized and demanded that the transcript be released.

Strzok, the FBI counterintelligence agent who said “we’ll stop” then-candidate Donald Trump from becoming president, was heavily criticized in last month’s Justice Department inspector general report for anti-Trump, pro-Hillary Clinton messages and having bias.
As chairman of the Judiciary Committee, Grassley has sought documents from the FBI related to allegations of bias in the Russia and Clinton emails investigations. Separately, multiple House committees have also pressed the Justice Department for records on those inquiries and recently passed a resolution demanding the agency do so.
