– Slate political reporter Dave Weigel tweeting not so seriously Wednesday about the fallout surrounding Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy’s remarks to a journalist, in which he confirmed his stance against same-sex marriage. Earlier this week Weigel wrote that he was confounded over people’s reactions to Cathy’s statements. “Has nobody walked there on a Sunday and seen the message from Cathy, explaining that the restaurant is closed because the company honors the Sabbath?” Weigel wrote. “Did nobody notice how Cathy got an honorary degree from Liberty University the same day that Mitt Romney did?” Nope, apparently not.
