Elizabeth Warren releases 10 years of tax returns, earned more than $900,000 in 2018

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., made slightly over $900,000 in 2018, according to a 2018 tax return she released on Wednesday.

The presidential candidate released 10 years worth of returns, dating back to before she became a senator. Warren becomes the fourth Democrat running for president to release her tax returns.

According to her return for last year, she paid a total of $230,000 in taxes in 2018. The Massachusetts Democrat made over $324,000 in 2018 from income related to her books, and also earned dividends from a Vanguard investment account.

Warren, a frequent critic of large banks, also reported over $4,000 of interest income from accounts with Bank of America, Capital One, and the Bank of Omaha, a regional bank located in Nebraska. The accounts are listed as jointly held with her husband.

Warren also claimed a residential energy tax credit of slightly over $13,000.
