Harvard: 67% millennials say college grads won’t find job

Already split on the chances they will achieve the “American Dream” in their lifetime, nearly seven in 10 millennials believe college graduates will have a difficult time even finding a permanent job, according to a new survey.

Harvard University’s Institute of Politics poll, issued Monday, found that 67 percent believe that students in their graduating class will struggle to find a job.

Just 2 percent said it will be “very easy” to find a permanent job, and 29 percent “somewhat easy.”

The findings highlight how the stagnant economy is weighing on college graduates as they prepare to receive their diplomas next month.

The poll reflected how little the students trust American institutions, including Wall Street and the media.

And it echoed a December 2015 poll which found that 48 percent believe that the American Dream is dead.
