Perry was the only candidate who tried to pin Romney under his record, but his halting blunt delivery contrasted sharply with Romney’s smooth delivery.
Perry’s usual Texas-sized persona seemed to be suppressed, and he appeared to focus more on reciting his lines correctly rather than wielding an effective attack.
