Hill leaders head to White House for pre-inaugural coffee with Trump, Obama

The top leaders in Congress will join President Obama and President-elect Trump at the White House for coffee this morning.

The group, including Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., will “attend coffee at the White House,” with Obama, Trump, Vice President Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Mike Pence, according to a GOP aide.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., will also attend, along with Sen Roy Blunt, R-Mo., who is chairman of the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies.
