Michael Avenatti, the attorney representing porn star Stormy Daniels in her lawsuits against President Trump, shot down the possibility of co-hosting a television show with former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci following a report that the concept had been pitched to two cable networks last week.
“Lol. I have no interest in television right now. I’ll leave that to the experts. I enjoy practicing law and look forward to prevailing on behalf of my client Stormy Daniels. That’s where my focus is. #focused #basta,” Avenatti tweeted Thursday.

The tweet came after the New York Times reported that Hollywood agent Jay Sures pitched the show, which would feature Avenatti and Scaramucci taking one another on over their opposing political views, to CNN and MSNBC.
Avenatti has waged war on the president and his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, and usually appears on several networks a day on behalf of his client. On the opposite side of the aisle, Scaramucci has remained a vocal supporter of the Trump administration despite his short tenure in the White House.
According to the report, Sures had yet to be employed by Avenatti, but it is not atypical for agents to float shows with potential clients prior to being hired.
Notable television stars that the Hollywood agent has represented include, Dr. Phil, Chuck Todd, and Norah O’Donnell.
Avenatti and Scaramucci both attended Sures’ White House correspondents’ dinner party last month, the Times reported.
