Suspect sought in Giant robbery

District police are looking for the man who tied up an employee and robbed a Giant supermarket at gunpoint. Police said the man entered the grocery store on the 1000 block of Brentwood Road NE at about 6:15 a.m. Tuesday. He knocked on the door to the cash office, displayed a handgun, and bound an employee before fleeing with money.

The suspect is described as black, about 35 to 45 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and 150 to 175 pounds. He has light facial hair and was wearing a black hat, black jacket, black pants and a yellow shirt. The man was not wearing a mask.
