Single-family home permits soar in St. Tammany

COVINGTON, La. (AP) — Permits for construction of single-family homes in St. Tammany Parish in April rose 80 percent from the same month in 2012.

The Times-Picayune reported (http://bit.ly/12WjWDZ) the number of permits issued was the highest since March 2008.
