A close friend of Stormy Daniels said they have been receiving threats from people tied to the adult film industry over Daniels’ alleged affair with President Trump more than a decade ago.
Alana Evans, also an adult film star, said that they have both received physical threats in the past few weeks from people trying to defend Trump and his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen.
“There are people within the adult industry that are no longer there that have been sending us threatening e-mails, threatening ourselves, our families, our safety, threatening to release as much private information as possible,” Evans explained to CNN’s Brooke Baldwin on Tuesday.
Evans said that the pressure from the threats and unwanted attention has been “enough” for her alone, adding that she “can only imagine what Stormy is going through at this time.”
“She is in fear for her life,” she continued.
Evans defended her friend’s allegations against the president, claiming that she was there when the two met in Lake Tahoe in 2006 and received a call on her on the phone in which she was invited to join them.
Daniels has also referenced her personal relationship with the president on Tuesday in a tweet warning that she’s not going anywhere.
