Elizabeth Warren on workplace sexism: ‘Bill O’Reilly, we are looking at you’

Sen. Elizabeth Warren called out Bill O’Reilly on Wednesday for a sexual harassment scandal that ultimately led to his ouster at Fox News.

During a speech, EMILY’s List gala in Washington, D.C., Warren, D-Mass., was discussing sexism in the workplace.

She said women know what it’s like to have a “sexist boss,” then adding, “and yes, Bill O’Reilly, we are looking at you.”

O’Reilly was ousted from Fox News last month, following an investigation by the New York Times that found either O’Reilly or Fox News’ parent company, 21st Century Fox, paid five women a total of $13 million in exchange for agreeing to not pursue litigation or speak about their accusations of sexual harassment or other types of inappropriate behavior.

The women, not identified in the report, either worked for O’Reilly or appeared on his show. The accusations dated at least as far back as 2002.
