Baltimore Running Festival registration passes 17,000

Registration for the Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival has passed 17,000 runners, the highest number of registrants in it’s eight-year history, the event’s organizer said Friday.

Two weeks ago, Elkridge-based Corrigan Sports Enterprises said the CareFirst BlueCross half-marathon had also sold out.

The Legg Mason Team Relay has also sold out, with 750 teams registered, Corrigan Sports said. The festival, set for Oct. 11, drew 14,524 runners last year.
