A man who attended a right-wing rally near the Capitol in Salem, Oregon, on Sunday pulled a gun on antifa protesters after they allegedly vandalized his truck and maced him.
Video captured of the incident shows some left-wing protesters dressed in black and spray-painting across the man’s windshield and smashing the truck’s taillights, according to the Statesman Journal.
In the footage, the driver is seen wearing an American flag sweatshirt and steps out of the vehicle to engage with the protesters. After appearing to be maced, the driver pulls out a pistol and can be heard shouting, “Get away from me.”

Police arrived at the scene, and the man placed his gun in the back of the pickup truck before putting his hands up and kneeling on the ground.
Meanwhile, protesters can be heard mocking the man as he is taken into custody, with one demonstrator saying, “F— the Proud Boys,” according to the Daily Mail.
The man was briefly detained but has reportedly not been charged as investigators continue to look into the matter, Oregon State Police Capt. Tim Fox told the Oregonian.

Several arrests were reportedly made on Sunday, with the truck vandalism being only one of the many incidents prompted by opposing protests.
At least three people were arrested, including 34-year-old Andrew Alan Foy on a charge of second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal trespass, 33-year-old Nathan McFarland on a charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, and 18-year-old Anthony Villaneda with charges including five counts of pointing a laser, according to a readout from Salem Police Department.
The Sunday event, called the “Oregon Freedom Rally,” was meant to honor those who “fought for our freedoms.”
Opposition to the rally reportedly waited for several hours near the Capitol for right-wing rallygoers to arrive, wearing black masks, helmets, and anti-fascist stickers.
Police tweeted earlier in the day that they expected 150 to 200 people who would be “heavily armed.”
