Coulter won’t hear Jeb’s Latino outreach, calls it ‘Hispandering’

One day after Republican Jeb Bush stood before a multi-racial crowd in Miami to declare his presidential bid, top conservative talker Ann Coulter, author of a new book warning of the dangers of illegal immigration, accused the former Florida governor of pandering to Latinos.

Coulter, who is meeting with lawmakers Tuesday in the latest sign of the influence of her book Adios America, told Secrets she was not wowed by Bush’s event which included Hispanics.

In an email, she said, “The only thing I will give ‘Jeb!’ is that he forthrightly says: I AM THE HISPANDERING CANDIDATE. You have to admit, ‘okay, at least he’s honest.'”

Adios America, The Left’s Plan To Turn Our Country Into A Third World Hellhole, is a top seller already and influential in anti-immigration circles. It is published by Regnery.

Coulter has the ear of some lawmakers and is planning two meetings with some today, one on Capitol Hill and the other at a party for her book.

Adios America has little good to say about Bush. In a section reviewing the positions of the potential GOP candidates, she accused Bush of being too easy on illegal immigrants and noted that he pushed Romney to lighten up his anti-immigration rhetoric.
