Teen charged with killing father
An 18-year-old is charged with stabbing his father to death in Chantilly.
Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at an apartment on the 5100 block of Woodmere Drive shortly before 11 p.m. Friday, Fairfax County police said.
Francis Koroma, 40, had suffered wounds to his upper body and was taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said. He died at about 4:15 a.m. Saturday.
Koroma’s son, Gbassay Koroma, is charged with murder.
Police said a domestic dispute apparently led to the stabbing.
D.C. police seek help identifying homicide victim
District police are asking for help identifying a man shot to death in Northeast this week.
The man was found on the 5100 block of Jay Street NE at about 4:15 p.m. Thursday. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
He is described as a black man who is 16 to 20 years old, about 5-feet, 11-inches to 6-feet tall and about 165 pounds. He has a medium complexion and several tattoos. On his right forearm is a tattoo that reads “RIP Pluck” while the tattoos on his left forearm say “Wease,” “Lifes a Gamble” and “KAT” with a halo above the word.

Man shot to death in Price George’s
Prince George’s County police are investigating a fatal shooting in Capitol Heights.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired shortly before 7:30 p.m. Friday on the 1700 block of Kenilworth Avenue.
They found a man who was wounded and unresponsive. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police identified the victim Saturday as 34-year-old Jimmie Lee Hunter of Temple Hills.
