Geraldo Rivera’s daughter in Paris during terror attack

Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera revealed Friday that his daughter, Simone Cruickshank, was nearly swallowed by the wave of terror currently sweeping over Paris.

She and her friends were attending at a soccer match at the Stade de France Friday evening when they heard multiple explosions.

“My daughter Simone told me she heard the three explosions near halftime,” a visibly shaken Rivera said on Fox News. “It was chaos. This is a terrifying, military scale attack.”

Luckily, he added tearfully, she and her friends made it out of the stadium safely, and they are making their way home.

At least three bombs were set off outside the soccer stadium Friday evening, reportedly killing several.

Multiple mass shooting events have also been reported.

Gunmen stormed the Bataclan arts centre, which was hosting an American rock band, and killed up to 100 concertgoers. The death toll was reported after the gunmen took more than 100 patrons hostage.

French security forces are reportedly responding to at least seven separate shooting incidents.

Current estimates put the death toll in Paris at around 118, with dozens more seriously injured. Those tallies are expected to change throughout the night.
