Just in time for Presidents Day, porkbusting Rep. Jeff Flake highlighted presidential spending projects contained in the fiscal 2008 omnibus appropriations bill.

According to the Arizona Republican, taxpayers are shelling out $750,000 for the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library in Hyde Park, N.Y., $8,000,000 for the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston, $3,760,000 to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Presidential Library in Austin, Texas, and $7,432,000 for the Richard M. Nixon Presidential Library in Yorba Linda, Calif.
“Those are some hefty library fines,” said Flake.
