After taking the crowd as the top artist on iTunes in 2012, Adele did the same with Billboard. Her album “21,” which was released back in Feb. 2011, was the biggest album of the year. It finally reached diamond status this year, selling 10 million copies. “21” was also the top album of the year in 2011. Billboard’s top songs of the year were “Somebody That I Used to Know,” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” and fun.’s “We Are Young.”
