Baltimore County Executive Jim Smith unveiled a new network Monday that provides a single contact point between businesses and job candidates from five county employment programs. Employers can call the network hot line and instantly access unemployed and underemployed candidates.
“The Baltimore County Employment Network gives employers an opportunity not only to find motivated, skilled employees, but in many cases, to give these job seekers a second chance,” Smith said in a statement.
