A matchup straight from the toilet

LeBron James called it the “Toilet Bowl.” And, of course, he should know because he’s a … well, we won’t go there. But he’s right: When the Wizards play at Cleveland on Sunday, it’ll match two horrible teams trying to end skids.

Cleveland gets one more shot to end its NBA-record 26-game losing streak when it hosts the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday. But if the Cavs lose, then they’ll try to end the skid vs. the Wizards, who, of course, are trying to end their 25-game road losing streak. They’re now four shy of tying the NBA record set by Dallas.

All of this should make for great ratings.

And one player knows the losing better than anyone: Antawn Jamison. He thought he had escaped it with a trade to Cleveland a year ago. But in his last two-plus seasons, Jamison’s teams are a combined 62-151. That’s a .291 winning percentage. And that’s a record he’d like to flush.
