Pennsylvania attorney general boasts he had to shield children from seeing ‘My Pillow guy’ on TV

Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro said he had to shield his children from seeing the “awful My Pillow guy” while he and his family were trying to watch a basketball game.

“That awful My Pillow guy just came on while our family is watching the Sixers game together,” Shapiro said on Twitter. “Lori and I yelled at the TV and told the kids to avert their eyes because there was inappropriate content on the screen.”

The “My Pillow guy” Shapiro was referencing is MyPillow CEO, Mike Lindell. Lindell has earned scorn from many on the Left for being a major donor and supporter of President Trump. More recently, Lindell appeared at a “Stop the Steal” rally in Washington, D.C., and accused Democrats of stealing the 2020 Election.

“We cannot give up on this ever,” Lindell told the crowd. “This is a spiritual warfare in our country and in the world.”

Lindell said that Trump’s claims of voter fraud were “real,” and the fraud was of such “epic proportions that this election was stolen.”

Reactions to Shapiro’s tweet were mostly humorous, with one user telling Shapiro he just purchased “a pillow from him in your honor.”

Author Ryan James Girdusky joked that Shapiro was “as brave as someone who stormed the beaches at Normandy.”

One of the states at the center of Trump’s fraud accusations is Shapiro’s Pennsylvania, which some have said suffered irregularities in voting, while others have accused the state of unconstitutionally changing its election rules.

Shapiro, a Democrat, came under fire shortly before Election Day for declaring that Trump would lose the state “if every vote” was counted.

“If all the votes are added up in PA, Trump is going to lose. That’s why he’s working overtime to subtract as many votes as possible from this process,” Shapiro said on Twitter.
