After less than five years at the “CBS Evening News” desk, Katie Couric is calling it quits.
The AP reported Monday that the former “Today” host is in talks to launch her own talk show next year. Her contract with CBS was set to expire June 4. Couric took over at “CBS Evening News” after Dan Rather left.
