White House adviser postponed a meeting to discuss the Paris climate change agreement for a second time.
The Tuesday meeting has been indefinitely postponed, but will take place at a later date.
The original meeting had been scheduled April 18, but was rescheduled after several White House advisers unexpectedly traveled with President Trump to Wisconsin that day.
Trump criticized the former President Barack Obama’s climate deal during his campaign. His administration is now faced with the decision of whether or not to remain in the international agreement, which is backed by nearly 200 nations.
Trump is slated to meet with national security adviser H.R. McMaster at 10 a.m. Tuesday then receive his daily intelligence briefing afterward. The rest of his day is open.
