1 billion: Number of hours of streaming content watched by Netflix customers in June. That number made the platform the 7th most watched network of the month. The company’s stock rose 12 percent on Thursday after news of the viewing numbers came out. The figure indicates quite a bounceback for Netflix, who dealt with drama last summer when they split their steaming and dvd services in to two separate packages.
