Good morning — my preview for today’s elections is available here.
From our Washington Examiner Election Calendar, here are tonight’s poll closing times, translated to Eastern Daylight Time:
Kentucky, last polls close at 7:00 p.m. EDT
A Rand Paul victory is expected in the GOP Senate primary. The Democrats’ Senate primary will be close, but Republicans are rooting for Lt. Gov. Dan Mongiardo, D, the weaker November candidate.
Arkansas, polls close at 8:30 p.m. EDT
If Sen. Blanche Lincoln, D, gets 50 percent, she avoids a runoff. If not, she faces Lt. Gov. Bill Halter again in early June.
Pennsylvania, polls close at 8:00 p.m. EDT
Can the SEIU, Obama’s Organizing for America, and the AFL-CIO save the political life of Democratic Sen. Arlen Specter? Also keep an eye on the race to fill the 12th Congressional District, which is neck and neck.
Oregon, last polls close at 11:00 p.m. EDT
