President Trump said Monday that fired White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman will never work for him again following her recent “vicious” attempts to attack her former colleagues and boss.
“Wacky Omarosa, who got fired 3 times on the Apprentice, now got fired for the last time. She never made it, never will. She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok. People in the White House hated her. She was vicious, but not smart. I would rarely see her but heard … really bad things. Nasty to people & would constantly miss meetings & work. When Gen. Kelly came on board he told me she was a loser & nothing but problems. I told him to try working it out, if possible, because she only said GREAT things about me – until she got fired!” Trump wrote Monday morning following a weekend of attacks from Manigault Newman.
[Opinion: The media never trusted Omarosa – until she had dirt on Trump]

About an hour after tweeting his first rebuke of Manigault Newman, Trump added that he chose to react publicly because he expected the media not to cover the issue fairly.
“While I know it’s “not presidential” to take on a lowlife like Omarosa, and while I would rather not be doing so, this is a modern day form of communication and I know the Fake News Media will be working overtime to make even Wacky Omarosa look legitimate as possible. Sorry!” he added.

On Friday, Manigault Newman, an African-American woman, claimed she heard Trump use the N-word before becoming president and other racial slurs while in office. She has not shared proof of those conversations.
Then on Sunday, she aired on NBC’s “Meet the Press” a three-minute conversation in which White House chief of staff John Kelly terminated her for “some pretty, in my opinion, significant integrity issues” in 2018. The conversation took place in the Situation Room and Manigault Newman recorded it despite White House rules.
Then on Monday, NBC published a new recording from Manigault Newman in which Trump said he was not aware of Kelly’s decision to fire her.
“Omarosa, what’s going on?” Trump had asked her during a phone call following her termination. “I just saw on the news that you’re thinking about leaving? What happened?”
“Gen. Kelly came to me and said that you guys wanted me to leave,” she replied.
“Nobody even told me about it,” Trump replied. “You know, they run a big operation, but I didn’t know it … I didn’t know that. Goddamn it. I don’t love you leaving at all.”
Trump and Manigault Newman first met in 2004 when she was a contestant on the first season of NBC’s “The Apprentice,” of which Trump was the host.
