The Senate Intelligence Committee will publicly question the heads of the nation’s intelligence agencies next week in a rare public hearing that will examine worldwide threats to America and its allies.
The witness list includes Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, Central Intelligence Agency Director John Brennan, Federal Bureau of Investigation Director James Comey, the head of the National Security Agency, Admiral Michael Rogers, and the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency Vincent Stewart.
Senate intelligence panel hearings are often held behind closed doors to protect classified information, but the Feb. 9 hearing is will be opened to the public and streamed live online.
Clapper, according to the panel, “will provide testimony on the Intelligence Community’s assessment of worldwide threats facing the nation,” with the help of the other agency heads.
