A drunk San Jose, Calif., man broke into a small airport and tried to fill up his car’s tank with jet fuel, police said.
Police arrested Justin Rodebush, 20, Sunday night on charges of driving while intoxicated and attempted theft.
The man used his credit card to try to access the fuel, cops said. He probably wasn’t trying to save money. The aviation fuel in the pumps used for aircraft and race cars, was going for $5.97 a gallon.
Nude dude catches rays, rail
A naked sunbather in England impaled himself on a rusty metal spike while drinking with friends.
Needing to use the bathroom, nudist Gavin Rigby, 34, walked to some trees at the edge of the embankment and slipped, falling head first into an iron post.
The post, which was about 8 inches long, pierced his inner thigh just next to his groin. Rigby was stuck on the post for up to half an hour as he waited for emergency crews.

A by-the-book bank teller in Wheaton thwarted a would-be robber Tuesday, Montgomery County police said.
A man entered the SunTrust Bank at 11201 Veirs Mill Road and demanded money the clerk refused to hand over cash and demanded the robber show proper identification, police said.
The suspect left and tried the BB&T Bank across the street, where he handed a note to the teller demanding money, police said.
Police quickly arrived and arrested the suspect inside the bank. Michael Jerome Johnson, 24, of Hyattsville, was charged with attempted bank robbery, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and second-degree assault.
Their next practice must have been tough
Two University of Virginia football players were arrested at a downtown Charlottesville nightclub last week.
Junior offensive lineman Will Barker and redshirt freshman lineman Dave Roberts were picked up at Club 216 early Saturday morning. Police say both men admitted to stealing beer from a cooler at the nightclub.
The bar advertises itself as Charlottesville’s only gay and lesbian nightclub.
Son not cut out for the family business
The teenage son of a Brevard County, Fla., sheriff’s deputy was busted for joy riding in his father’s unmarked car and pulling over other motorists.
Myko Coker Jr., 18, was arrested on charges of grand theft auto and impersonating a law enforcement officer.
When stopped by the real police, Coker reportedly identified himself as his father, Deputy Myko Coker Sr., and said he had stopped a driver who almost hit him on the way home.
