“Private Practice” is losing one of its doctors. Tim Daly tweeted today that Shonda Rhimes told his agent that his character, Pete, will not be back nexy year. Daly spent five seasons on the show. No word from Daly or Rhimes on how his character will exit the show. “Private Practice’s” standing with ABC isn’t all that solid, either, with many believing next season’s 13-episode arc will be the show’s last.
