Florida Sen. Marco Rubio might be open to running for reelection if his friend, Florida’s Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera, ends his own bid for the state’s Senate seat.

“Look, I have a real good friend I’ve known for a long time who I was running for the Senate with. I didn’t run. I said I wasn’t going to [and] he got in the race,” Rubio told CNN’s Jake Tapper in an interview set to air Sunday.
