The U.S. Space Force now has a flag.
The flag marks the first time in 72 years that the official flag of a new military service was unveiled. President Trump marked the occasion at the White House on Friday alongside the Space Force’s Chief Master Sgt. Roger Towberman, who presented the flag.

The new banner is jet black and shows the Space Force logo in a blue and silver motif with the words “United States Space Force” below the logo in white lettering.
Earlier this year, the Space Force unveiled the first picture of the branch’s new service utility uniforms, and the Washington National Cathedral blessed the Bible that will be used to swear in future commanders of the country’s newest branch of the military.
This month, the Space Force released a recruitment video designed to inspire, with the narrator saying: “Maybe your purpose on this planet isn’t on this planet.”
