Most Washingtonians don’t bother to dress up for Halloween (they already spend most of the year playing the part anyway … ). But that doesn’t mean that some of our power-types can’t dream.
So we had to ask: What will you dress up as? Or what would you like to dress up as? ABC’s George Stephanopoulos deferred to his children. “Elliott and Harper have informed me that I’m going as a pirate.”
Many others couldn’t avoid the political angle. Washington Capitals owner Ted Leonsis said, “I will dress like the lady who said to Senator McCain that Obama was ‘an Arab.’ ”
MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” cohost Mika Brzezinski said she was dressing up as the “Obama Girl” but was even more excited for another costume prospect: “Mike Barnicle as ‘Joe The Plumber’ is what I would like to see.”
And Americans for Tax Reform head Grover Norquist said, “I’m gonna dress up as a community organizer, because it’s a great career path. I’ll put a little presidential pin on my lapel.”
