WATCH: Johnny Depp amuses himself with doodling artwork during court case

Johnny Depp was seen drawing on a Post-it note during his defamation trial against Amber Heard in Virginia.

The actor amused himself, sharing the drawing with his attorney, Benjamin Chew, on the ninth day of the fiery defamation trial.

Chew appeared very impressed by the drawing. People watching commented that they, too, were amused.

“That was so insanely cute,” one person wrote. “He was like a little kid trying to impress his teacher with his drawing, ‘I made this for you.’”

Others noted how the trial, which is playing out for the public to watch live, has captured their attention.

“This has been the most entertaining episode of divorce court ever,” one viewer wrote.

One person pledged his support for the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, saying, “You just can’t stop loving him. May justice be served to him. And may the force be with him.”

Later in the week, Depp was seen coloring with purple and pink markers next to a pile of gummy bears.

“He’s literally here drawing, doodling with his lill pile of gummy bears and ice breakers and Amber’s circling and underlining and writing essays?” a Twitter user commented on the photos.

Those watching the trial have taken note of the actor’s artistic talent.

“He’s like a kid so carefree,” another Twitter user wrote. “But all in all Johnny can draw he’s got skills.”
