D.C. United has announced that it will officially introduce its new ownership partners on Tuesday afternoon at the W Hotel in Washington. As previously reported by The Examiner and ESPN.com, they will be Jason Levien and Erick Thohir. Current majority owner Will Chang, who will keep a significant role in United’s ownership structure, will be present, as will team president Kevin Payne.
My story about Levien and Thohir from Sunday’s print edition is here. Expect the stadium conversation tomorrow to be front and center.
