Hillary Clinton isn’t sure the Second Amendment is a constitutional right. But she’s sure the right to abortion is.
Speaking at a Planned Parenthood event in Washington Friday, the likely Democratic nominee called “safe and legal abortion” a “constitutional right.” Watch Clinton’s full remarks below:
Recently, the former secretary of state was asked “if and individual’s right to bear arms is a constitutional right—that it’s not linked to service in a militia.” Clinton replied that, “if it is a constitutional right, then it like every other constitutional right is subject to reasonable regulations.”
The Second Amendment reads, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
