Bulls (35-39) at Wizards (22-52)

If you caught my tweet this morning at Wizards shootaround, you’d know Randy Foye was done for the year since he’s got a cast on his left wrist now that won’t come off until April 13 – one day before the season ends.

Washington head coach Flip Saunders also called Al Thornton questionable (hip flexor), but Thornton didn’t pass muster and isn’t playing tonight. Instead, Flip will use the same starting lineup he opted for earlier in the week at Houston and New Orleans: Shaun Livingston, Nick Young, Mike Miller, Andray Blatche and Fabricio Oberto.

The Bulls, who are pushing for the last playoff spot in the East, have Joakim Noah back in the starting lineup for the first time since early February.

I also asked Flip earlier today about his take on tomorrow’s Final Four.

“I’ve always had a soft spot for [Michigan State head coach Tom] Izzo because he’s a friend of mine,” said Saunders. “I talk to him a couple times a week. I think they’ll get there, and earlier I picked Duke to get there. Maybe Michigan State can pull a spoiler.”

As he turned to head back into practice, he added, “That probably means it’ll be Butler and West Virginia.”
