Footage from first responders was released Tuesday showing what happened shortly after a Cleveland Browns star was involved in a car crash.
The body camera footage, released by the Medina County Sheriff’s Office, showed two first responders tending to player Myles Garrett, whose shirt was ripped but otherwise appeared to be in good spirits. He eventually got up from the ground and walked with one of the responders toward an ambulance, according to News 5 Cleveland.

“After medical evaluation today, our team doctors at University Hospitals have concluded that Myles has sustained a shoulder sprain, biceps sprains, minor lacerations as well as some bumps and bruises to various other body parts,” the Browns said in a statement. “Myles didn’t suffer any fractures and has also cleared body concussion protocol.”

An unidentified woman who had been riding in the vehicle with Garrett was also on the ground and receiving care from the responders. Garrett’s vehicle, a 2021 Porsche, was also seen in the footage and was heavily damaged, with both the rear window popped out and the rear bumper greatly crumpled.
The crash took place at around 3 p.m. on Monday, when Garrett’s vehicle drove over to the right side of the road and flipped several times, according to authorities. Both he and the woman were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

While neither drugs nor alcohol is believed to have played a role in the crash, its cause is still being determined, according to police.
The next game for the Browns will be on Sunday, when the team will compete against the Atlanta Falcons. The team said Garrett’s ability to play in the game will be evaluated by doctors throughout the week.
