White House counselor Kellyanne Conway said President Trump is considering easing some of the sanctions on Russia soon, just as he’s about to talk by phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday.
“All of that is under consideration,” she said on Fox News.

Conway said the United States stands ready to work with Putin to defeat the Islamic State, and said Trump is not taking anything off the table in the fight against the terrorist group.
“If Vladimir Putin wants to join the United States in having a serious conversation about defeating radical Islamic terrorists … we call them murderers here,” she said, “And, if another nation that has considerable resources to join with the United States of America to defeat radical Islamic terrorism, then we’re listening.”
