NASA Langley, STEAM partner to enhance education

HAMPTON, Va. (AP) — NASA Langley is partnering with a statewide initiative to promote science, technology, engineering and math education.

The partnership with the Virginia Science Technology Engineering and Applied Mathematics Academy, or STEAM, includes providing guidance on how to create hands-on learning experiences.

NASA Langley says in a news release that it also will dedicate 10 mentors who will provide research and shadowing opportunities for STEAM students and faculty.

Students will be selected to serve as ambassadors for NASA Langley’s research and education programs.
