Democratic Sen. Roland Burris, who took his Senate seat by appointment in a failed bid to help restore legitimacy to a corrupt Illinois governor, offered a silly Christmas Eve poem on health care on the Senate floor. If you haven’t seen it already, here it is:
My only question: Will Burris add “poet” to all of the other accomplishments that he has already etched on the gloriously ridiculous graveyard monument that he prematurely erected to honor himself?
