Super Bowl poll: Katy Perry, ads are the draw

According to Rasmussen Reports, 68 percent will watch the halftime show, up seven points from last year when the performers were Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Perry is planning one of her typical extravagant shows and has invited Lenny Kravitz to join her.

A slight majority, 51 percent, said that they will tune in just because of the game, but a growing number over previous years will watch just to see the funny or controversial TV ads. last year, 58 percent said the game was more important than the ads.

Meanwhile, 38 percent said they are into the game just for the ads, up four points from last year, said Rasmussen.
