If, one day in the distant future, the world is able to stave off a nuclear confrontation with troublesome Iran, perhaps we’ll be able to say it all started at La Perla restaurant in the West End.
That’s where a group of Big Deal Types congregated for a meal earlier this week in order to discuss Iran’s nuclear ambitions and how to best deal with them.
The non-partisan group — United Against Nuclear Iran — includes such political hot shots as Richard Holbrooke and James Woolsey and they chowed down while brainstorming in advance of the group’s public launch on Monday.
